Shirodhara & Indian Head Oil Massage Training Course

Location: 40 Lincoln Road, Henderson, Auckland

Enhance your Shirodhara treatment by incorporating the soothing practice of Indian Head Oil Massage (also known as Shiro Abhyangha). This additional technique is a wonderful way to prepare your clients before the Shirodhara therapy, typically done for 30 minutes beforehand. The combination of these two practices offers an exceptional holistic approach for stress relief, relaxation, and rejuvenation.

This comprehensive training includes both the Shirodhara technique and Indian Head Oil Massage, all in one day. The additional training for Indian Head Oil Massage will take an extra 3-4 hours, but can be completed in the same day as the Shirodhara session.

Course Content:
Health & safety guidelines
Contraindications for both treatments
History and theory of Ayurveda, Shirodhara, and Indian Head Oil Massage (Shiro Abhyangha)
Benefits and effects of both treatments
Client consultation and record-keeping
Materials, equipment, and products required for both therapies
Step-by-step practical training for Shirodhara and Indian Head Oil Massage techniques
Treatment planning, contra-actions, and aftercare for both therapies
Course Duration: The combined training session will last approximately 7-8 hours.

Pricing:
1 student: $945 + GST
2 students: $875 + GST per student
Group of 4 (maximum): $750 + GST per student
Additional Information:

Models may be required for the practical session.
All products and tools for both treatments will be provided on the day of training at the training center.
A Certificate of Completion will be awarded upon completion of the course.
