Face Waxing Techniques

✔ Upper lip, chin, sideburns and full face waxing
✔ Correct wax application and removal techniques
✔ Selecting the appropriate wax for different skin types
✔ Minimising redness, irritation and skin sensitivity

Eyebrow Waxing and Shaping

✔ Eyebrow waxing and clean finishing techniques
✔ Shaping brows according to facial features
✔ Correcting uneven or asymmetrical brows
✔ Face analysis and professional client consultation

Professional Brow Mapping

✔ Identifying the correct starting point, arch and endpoint
✔ Measuring and mapping symmetrical brows
✔ Creating balanced and structured brow shapes
✔ Customising the shape according to the client’s face structure
✔ Preparing mapped brows for waxing, tinting or other brow treatments

Hygiene and Safety

✔ New Zealand hygiene and professional standards
✔ Preventing cross contamination
✔ Correct disposable applicator use and no double dipping

Prerequisites

No previous experience is required.

A basic understanding of beauty treatments may be helpful, but it is not necessary. We will guide you from the foundations through to professional practical application.

2 Days of Intensive Training

Time: 10.00 am to 4.00 pm each day

Course Fee

$1,100 plus GST

The training kit is not included.

Guidance will be provided on purchasing a suitable starter kit, which may also be available from our academy.

Certification

Upon successfully completing the training, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Bindu’s Beauty & Academy.

Booking and Training Dates

✔ All courses must be booked through our Shopify website
✔ Full payment is required at the time of enrolment
✔ Once your booking is confirmed, we will contact you to arrange your training dates according to availability
✔ Training dates are scheduled in advance to allow suitable arrangements for trainers, models and learning materials

Training Schedule

✔ Training is conducted from Monday to Thursday
✔ Weekend classes are not available
✔ All dates are subject to availability
✔ Training is available in Auckland and Hamilton
✔ Adjusted schedules or extended hours may be considered for students travelling from outside Auckland, subject to approval and availability

Group and Onsite Training

We can travel to your salon or spa to provide group training.

Group pricing and customised training packages are available. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

✔ Cancellations made at least 10 days before the confirmed training date will incur a 20 percent administration and preparation fee. The remaining balance will be refunded
✔ Cancellations made within 10 days of the confirmed training date are not eligible for a refund
✔ Cancellations made within 24 hours of the training date are not eligible for a refund
✔ No shows are not eligible for a refund
✔ Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur an administration fee
